Sports for physically challenged cricketers is pathway to nation building, community development, empowerment, skill development and investment in their health.

Enable with Prosthetic and Orthotic equipment:

Through this program we help identify prosthetic or orthotic equipment, that can help augment loss bio- physical functions. These tools are also assistive to avoid long term medical issues that are caused in such individuals, because of over-usage of functional limbs to compensate the non-functional limb.

We have identified over 500 individuals, to whom appropriate prosthetic or orthotic equipment would be provided. We are ambitious to support at least 100 individuals on 1st April 2020, Late Padma Shri Ajit Wadekar’s Birth Anniversary.

Sports is liberating, it builds confidence, it helps to apply your best ability to overcome any challenges in life. Through a structured institute and courseware, we intend develop essential life skills among physically challenged.

We plan to set-up Ajit Wadekar Sports Academy for Physically Challenged, across multiple locations in India. Which would not only encourage Sports among physically challenged individuals, but build athletes who would bring glory to nation at various sporting events.

Empower with Job/Trade Skills

Many a times over-protective guardians and even social taboo, prevents physically challenged individuals to acquire essential job/trade related skills, which impacts their ability to be financial independent.

Through the AJIT WADEKAR SPORTS ACADEMY, we also intend to impart relevant skill training, helping them to become financially independent and thus ensuring they are equally respected within society.

All the formalities such as registration under Societies Act 1960 as well as Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 were completed. AICAPC is the APEX body in India for promoting the game of cricket among the physically challenged. Donations to this organization are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80(G).

1. INITIATIVE	Enable with Prosthetic and Orthotic equipment
OBJECTIVE	Through this program we help identify prosthetic or orthotic equipment, that can help augment loss bio-physical functions. METHODOLODY	Once in 4 months, there will be a check carried amongst our pool of physically challenged cricketers from all over the country and they will be assessed by the professional prosthetic company and we will provide them with the required equipment to enrich their lives.

2. INITIATIVE	Training and Coaching
OBJECTIVE	To build confidence, it is imperative that these physically challenged cricketers are advancing in their game. To hone their skills and guarantee progress we will start the Ajit Wadekar Sports Academy for Boys and girls under 16 and Under 19. These training camps will be done all over the country and will focus on bringing the children to the next level and develop them emotionally and skilfully. This will help us create a better funnel of sportspersons and a secure future for them. The ripple effect of one athlete performing well can indirectly impact lakhs of others.
STRATEGY	The academy will be at new or existing stadiums in 10 cities throughout the country namely Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Hubli, Ahmedabad etc. These camps will be held yearly at all locations primarily during holidays.
METHODOLODY	There will be a selection camp for each zone/city and then the training will commence. The training conducted will be holistic hence will include core skills as well a close check on their health, medical requirements if any and enrichment will be provided. 3. INITIATIVE	Life skills and soft skills
OBJECTIVE	In recent times it is imperative that each individual be equipped with the essential life skills and soft skills to enrich their personal and social lives. It also helps them build confidence and not get disheartened at their disability. We will stress on Ability Beyond Disability.
STRATEGY	Each individual deserves to grow to their potential and bring out the best in them. The skills we will focus on : Soft skills 1. Leadership skills 2. Communication skills 3. Motivational speech 4. Interpersonal skills 5. Grooming and mannerisms Life Skills a. Osteopathy b. Face Yoga c. Physiotherapy
METHODOLODY	We will engage with professional trainers on a half yearly basis. These trainings will be held in 8 cities in the country.

4. INITIATIVE	Job/Trade Skills
OBJECTIVE	It is crucial that we also develop each of our physically challenged cricket to achieve their dreams and goals in both sports and corporate. It is imperative that we build these people into financially strong persons to support their families and lead a comfortable life. If not, the biggest setback is frustration for these persons which leads to suicide etc. Hence we want to enable them to secure themselves financially and nurture them to be business savvy.
STRATEGY	To have a place in the corporate world or a governmental organisation we will equip these individuals with the following trade skills 1. Computer Skills 2. Accounting 3. Basic banking 4. Investing and Saving 5. Entrepreneurial skills
