All the formalities such as registration under Societies Act 1960 as well as Bombay Public Trust Act 1950 were completed. AICAPC is the APEX body in India for promoting the game of cricket among the physically challenged. Donations to this organization are exempted from Income Tax under Section 80(G).

We conduct the tournaments at local, regional and national level. All the players must have disability more than 40% to qualify to participate in the tournaments. A specially designed ball is used for the game.

We encourage to organize local Inter District tournaments and from this a state level team is selected. This state team will participate in the various National level tournaments organized by the AICAPC, not only in Mumbai but all over India to make the public aware that a physically challenged person can also play the cricket with the same enthusiasm and zeal. We are following he pattern of Ranaji Trophy, Irani Trophy, Duleep Trophy and now the Elite and Plate group.

In December 2002, we organized successfully an one day International Cricket series for the physically challenged persons between India and England. We are proud to state that we won this series (3-0). In the near future we may go to England to play cricket on reciprocal basis. Also a plan to organize Mini World Cup Tournament for the Physically Challenged persons is on the card.

Late Sir, Don Bradman did applaud the significant work that has been undertaken by AICPAC under the leadership of Shri Ajit Wadekar. He gave his autographed portrait with the sole purpose of raising funds for AICPAC.

Although the merit of AICAPC is commendable, we need support from the like minded individuals, corporates who can show their social obligation through AICAPC and most important is media.

My best wishes to AICAPC to all its future endeavors and I wish all my physically challenged friends a very ahhappy and prosperous future.
